Discuss transportation issues and opportunities at Downtown on the Go’s (DOTG) Forum this Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 from noon to 1 p.m. at UW Tacoma (Joy 215).
Panelists Fred Young (Alta Planning), Diane Wiatr (City of Tacoma Active Transportation Coordinator) and Lisa Quinn (Feet First Executive Director) explore the options to ensure that cars, bike, buses and pedestrians can coexist on the streets of Tacoma.
The presenters are not only locally renowned, but they bring their knowledge from working around the country and will talk about the challenges in installing complete streets. The presenters will also discuss the importance of everyone being able to use the streets.
