  1. I believe music education is important, and I am glad I have a chance to take part in it, but as soon as it becomes a core class it becomes less enjoyable. When you HAVE to do something it’s not as fun, and it forces those who have no drive or desire to take part in music to do so, and that would muddle the dedication and talent of those who want to be there.
